The Opportunity

ParTee Time is looking for a high-energy Head Chef to lead our start up. The Head Chef is responsible for collaborating and executing a refined, innovative menu that complements the elevated atmosphere of a high-end lounge and bar with a Filipino influence. This role combines culinary artistry with strong leadership and operational oversight, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. The Head Chef plays a key role in shaping the guest experience by delivering dishes that pair seamlessly with premium cocktails, wines, and spirits. 

ParTee Time is looking for a high-energy Head Chef to lead our start up. The Head Chef is responsible for collaborating and executing a refined, innovative menu that complements the elevated atmosphere of a high-end lounge and bar with a Filipino influence. This role combines culinary artistry with strong leadership and operational oversight, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. The Head Chef plays a key role in shaping the guest experience by delivering dishes that pair seamlessly with premium cocktails, wines, and spirits. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Team on a sophisticated, seasonally inspired menu aligned with the lounge’s brand and clientele 

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely service 

  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism 

  • Maintain high standards of food presentation, taste, and portion control 

  • Collaborate with bar management to develop food and beverage pairings 

  • Source high-quality ingredients and manage vendor relationships 

  • Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste 

  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations 

  • Manage scheduling, kitchen workflow, and staff performance 

  • Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and VIP guest experiences with creativity and precision 

Qualifications

  • Red Seal certification or equivalent culinary diploma

  • 5+ years of experience in upscale dining, lounge, or fine dining kitchens

  • Proven leadership experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar role

  • Experience in menu development for upscale or nightlife venues

  • Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques and global cuisine trends

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard environment

  • Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

  • First Aid and Food Handlers Certification

  • Golf knowledge is not required; however, it is considered a strong asset


Preferred Skills: 

  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail pairings

  • Creativity with small plates, tapas-style, or shareable menus

  • Experience with or interest in Filipino flavours and fusion techniques. 


Work Environment: 

  • Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen supporting a luxury lounge and bar 

  • Days, Evenings, including weekends and holidays 

  • Requires standing for extended periods and working in a hot environment
